MARCH 2026 • CANNABIS EVENTS

Scientific / Clinical Congress
Where: Millenium Centro de Convenções, São Paulo, Brazil
 When: 26 March (pre-congress) + 27-28 March 2026
100% B2B – 0% B2C
100% Medical – 0% Recreational

Second edition of the Pan-American endocannabinology congress. Draws physicians, pharmacists, researchers, and regulatory specialists across Brazil and Latin America, with heavyweight international speakers (Lumir Hanus, Manuel Guzmán, Dedi Meiri, Adi Aran). This is where the clinical evidence base actually gets debated, making it highly relevant for European medical-cannabis clinics scouting Brazilian KOLs and for pharma clients staffing medical affairs roles.

MAY 2026 • CANNABIS EVENTS

Congress & Trade Fair
Where: Transamerica Expo Center, São Paulo, Brazil
 When: 21-23 May 2026
85% B2B – 15% B2C
95% Medical – 5% Recreational

Latin America’s flagship scientific-professional cannabis event, now in its 5th edition. Around 60 exhibitors, 100+ Brazilian and international speakers, roughly 1,200 congress delegates plus 4,600 fair visitors. The programme is modular: Medcan, Odontocannabis, Vetcannabis, Quimfarma Cannabis, Agro & Tech, and Business. Landed inside Brazil’s new regulatory window (ANVISA’s RDCs 1012 through 1015) with over 1 million patients now on medicinal cannabis. The room where compliance, importer relationships, and clinical-evidence conversations happen, and the natural entry point for EU-GMP exporters targeting Brazil’s fast-scaling patient market.

AUGUST 2026 • CANNABIS EVENTS

Cannabis Cup / Cultivation Competition & Expo
Where: Morocco Venue, Hipólito Yrigoyen 851, Buenos Aires, Argentina
 When: 2 August 2026
20% B2B – 80% B2C
Cultural / Self-cultivation

Latin America’s oldest cannabis gathering, running since 2002. The 2026 cultivation competition added BHO Extractions and Selected Clone categories. Culture-heavy and cultivator-focused, but a useful temperature check on Argentina’s grassroots scene – not a primary B2B stop.

🎫 Tickets sold out (event already concluded).

Professional Conference (Medicinal + Industrial)
Where: Oceania Convention Center, Florianópolis, Brazil
 When: 12-14 August 2026
90% B2B – 10% B2C
80% Medical – 20% Recreational

Southern Brazil’s serious cannabis conference – clinical, cultivation, and industrial hemp tracks. Florianópolis pulls a different crowd from São Paulo (more Santa Catarina agri-tech and clinics), giving European operators insight into Brazil’s second-tier hiring markets outside SP-RJ.

OCTOBER 2026 • CANNABIS EVENTS

Business Conference & Expo
Where: The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, Kingston, Jamaica
When: 2 October 2026 (single day)
80% B2B – 20% B2C
70% Medical – 30% Recreational

The Caribbean’s longest-running cannabis business platform, now repositioned as a wellness, psychedelics, and cannabis conference. Draws leaders from North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean; past keynotes include Bruce Linton, Vicente Fox, and Montel Williams. For a European B2B audience, CanEx is the entry point into Caribbean cultivation and export licensing: Jamaica’s low input costs and existing traditional-plant economy make it a live conversation for anyone modelling non-EU cultivation for the European medicinal market.

Academic / Clinical Congress
 Where: Rosario, Argentina
 When: 7-9 October 2026
95% B2B – 5% B2C
100% Medical – 0% Recreational

The Argentine cannabis-and-health community’s flagship – university-anchored, CONICET-linked, with a strong clinician and policy weighting. The first edition ever to add “Internacional” alongside the 4th Argentine congress, meaning cross-border speakers. This is where European medical operators go to source Argentine clinical KOLs and understand the RACME network.

Feria (Expo & Conference)
Where: La Rural, Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina
 When: 23-25 October 2026
50% B2B – 50% B2C
Medical & Recreational-adjacent (self-cultivation via Reprocann)

The largest cannabis feria in the Spanish-speaking Southern Cone. Around 400 exhibitors covering genetics, cultivation equipment, cosmetics, textiles, food and beverage, and lab equipment; a Business Hub sits alongside a heavy consumer culture floor. Argentina’s Reprocann system and 2020 medical-cultivation authorisation have created an unusually deep talent and supplier base for a not-fully-legal market. For European recruiters and buyers, this is the fair to meet Argentine cultivators, geneticists, and equipment vendors who are increasingly pitching themselves at Latin America-to-EU export pipelines.

NOVEMBER 2026 • CANNABIS EVENTS

Investor & Partnership Summit
Where: São Paulo Expo (Pavilhão 8), São Paulo, Brazil
 When: 12 November 2026 (single day, 14h-19h)
100% B2B – 0% B2C
95% Medical – 5% Recreational

Closed-door business day for investors, entrepreneurs, and executives – deal-flow oriented and positioned as the professional prelude to ExpoCannabis Brasil. Small enough to meet the room, large enough that Latin regional players and international capital both show up. The right pre-day for European finance and business-development teams who want CBCM and ExpoCannabis Brasil market context without sitting through the full three-day consumer expo.

Expo & Conference
Where: São Paulo Expo, São Paulo, Brazil
 When: 20-22 November 2026
40% B2B – 60% B2C
Medical, Entrepreneurship & Advocacy tracks

Fourth edition, projected at 47,000-50,000 visitors from 14+ countries, themed “Para Além da Planta” (Beyond the Plant). The Latin American cannabis calendar’s largest gathering by foot traffic. Programming includes the Dr. Elisaldo Carlini Scientific Congress, the International Forum, and Cannabis Business Hub Brasil above. For European B2B: Brazil crossed 1 million medicinal patients in June 2026 and R$470m+ in H1 revenue – the market has moved from speculative to operational, and this is where EU-GMP importers, prescribing clinics, and distributor networks now openly negotiate.

Business Expo & Conference
 Where: Plaza Mayor, Medellín, Colombia
When: 20-22 November 2026 (clashes with ExpoCannabis Brasil)
90% B2B – 10% B2C
90% Medical – 10% Recreational

ExpoCannaBiz positions Medellín as the gateway to Latin American cannabis for international buyers. Historically 8,000+ attendees, 150+ exhibitors, with a strong investment and finance track. Colombia’s climate, low labour cost, agricultural expertise, and EU-GMP-certified producers (Clever Leaves, Khiron, Pharmacielo) make it the most credible Latin American origin for European medicinal supply. The single best venue for European importers to shortlist Colombian cultivators and manufacturers under one roof. Note that dates collide exactly with ExpoCannabis Brasil, so attendees must choose: Colombia = licence-and-export story; Brazil = domestic-demand story.

DECEMBER 2026 • CANNABIS EVENTS

Feria (Expo & Festival)
 Where: Parque O’Higgins, Santiago, Chile
 When: 5-6 December 2026
30% B2B – 70% B2C
Cultural / Self-cultivation dominant

Self-described as South America’s largest hemp and cannabis fair, and distinctly cultural: “culture, science, and community.” Chile has no regulated adult-use market and a hostile 2026 reform to Ley 20.000, so Expoweed is less a B2B trade show than a rallying point for the domestic self-cultivation and clinical-user community. For European industry professionals, its value is intelligence – read the temperature of the Chilean patient and grower community before the 2027 legislative cycle.

Expo & Conference (Latinnabis flagship)
Where: LATU Events Center, Montevideo, Uruguay
 When: 6-8 December 2026 (13h-21h daily)
40% B2B – 60% B2C
All three legal pathways: pharmacy, home cultivation, cannabis clubs

13th edition, with 100+ exhibitors, 180+ brands, and 40+ workshop sessions. Uruguay was the first country in the world to fully legalise cannabis in 2013 and remains the most mature regulated market in Latin America. ExpoCannabis Uruguay is where European operators can study a national-scale legal framework end-to-end – IRCCA regulation, tracing, pricing controls, cooperative-club models – and meet Uruguayan producers already exporting to Europe under EU-GMP (Fotmer, Cannabis Green Farms). Also the anchor Latinnabis event, so cross-market Latin American networking is strongest here.
