Then you came to the right place!

Whether you're from B2B or B2C, a recreational or medical cannabis professional, our list indicates which events are the best fit for your networking needs – guaranteed to give the optimum exposure for both seasoned cannabis veterans and newcomers alike.

A quick note before you start planning: we're publishing this early so our network of cannabis professionals has plenty of time to review what lies ahead next year and budget for the events they want to attend. This isn't usually the case, but because we're so far out, dates and ticket prices may change between now and the day the doors open. Every event below has its 2027 dates confirmed directly on the organiser's own website at the time of writing – we'll keep this list updated as more details land.

Lumino will be attending a number of these events (we will indicate which ones) – we hope to see you there!

MARCH 2027 • CANNABIS EVENTS

Spannabis Bilbao 2027

Trade Fair & Cultural Festival
•
Where: Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), Pavilion 1, Barakaldo, Spain
•
 When: 11 March 2027 (Spannabis B2B forum) & 12-14 March 2027 (fair)
• 40% B2B – 60% B2C
• 20% Medical – 80% Recreational

Now in its 24th edition and second year in Bilbao (after the move from Barcelona), Spannabis remains Europe's biggest cannabis trade fair. The 2026 edition drew around 300 international exhibitors across three days, with attendance quoted as "tens of thousands." Cultivators, breeders, genetics and nutrient suppliers, growshops, extraction equipment vendors and a large consumer crowd all show up. Co-located events give it extra weight: the 16th World Cannabis Conference runs the policy and medical track, while the 21st Cannabis Champions Cup crowns the year's top genetics with a VIP-only jury (awards on Friday 12 March at 7pm). The Sensory Zone with terpene workshops was a 2026 addition worth watching for how it evolves in 2027.

New for 2027 is Spannabis B2B, an International Cannabis Business Forum held on Thursday 11 March in the BEC's VIP Room, the day before the public arrives. It is a one-day, limited-capacity format built around conferences, a B2B meeting area and bookable commercial tables, pitched at distributors, investors and company leaders who want their meetings locked in before the fair gets busy.

For a Lumino B2B reader, that Thursday forum is now the obvious way in: set up your meetings there, then use the next three days to walk a floor packed with cultivation, processing and growshop talent. Book flights and hotels in Bilbao well before Christmas because accommodation goes fast for this one.

🎫 Fair tickets available from €23 (advance 1-day), €25 (walk-up 1-day), €52 (advance 3-day pass), €55 (walk-up 3-day pass), and €85 (VIP, advance only). Spannabis B2B passes are €160 (Early Bird) and €190 (standard), both including a three-day pass to the fair.

APRIL 2027 • CANNABIS EVENTS

ICBC Berlin 2027

Expo & Conference
•
 Where: Estrel Berlin Hotel, Germany
•
 When: 13-15 April 2027
• 100% B2B
• 60% Medical – 40% Recreational

The International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC) is the longest-running European cannabis B2B conference and the must-attend for anyone building in Germany. The 2026 Berlin edition pulled 5,000+ attendees from 80+ countries, 400+ exhibitors and sponsors across 15,000 square metres, and 50 speakers. Post-CanG, Berlin has become the centre of gravity for European cannabis capital, and ICBC is where investors, pharma distributors, clinics, social-club operators and Bundestag lawmakers actually sit in the same rooms.

Its standout format: it is the only European event that regularly puts German lawmakers on stage with global Licensed Producer (LP) CEOs. Roughly 90% of the world's largest LPs attend. In past editions, free credentials have gone to German social clubs (300+), European growshops (150+) and German cannabis pharmacies (500+), and 2027 adds dedicated Pharmacy and Social Clubs Meetups as bookable extras. For our clients hiring in Germany, this is the one European room where deal-making density is unmatched, so it usually shapes the year's talent movement.

🎫 Tickets now on sale at €299 (Expo Only, 14-15 April), €399 (Expo & Speaker Sessions) and €499 (VIP, adds the 13 April Welcome Reception), all plus 19% German VAT. Prices rise on 18 November 2026. Optional add-ons: Pharmacy Meetup and Social Clubs Meetup (€150 each), VIP Reception and After Party (€100 each).

MAY 2027 • CANNABIS EVENTS

World Class Cannabis Business Europe 2027 (CBE27)

Conference (Executive)
•
Where: Leonardo Hotel Frankfurt City South, Frankfurt, Germany
•
 When: 13-14 May 2027
• 100% B2B
• 70% Medical – 30% Recreational

The 11th annual edition. Deliberately small: the 2026 event capped at ~200 executives from ~150 companies with 20 speakers. This is the antithesis of the trade-show model, built around case-study presentations and round-tables aimed squarely at C-suite and heads of function. The pharma-channel focus is unusually heavy for a cannabis conference: 2026 put Four 20 Pharma, Aurora Europe and Canopy Growth on the same stage.

It's the right room for a pharma-cannabis GM, an LP's EU commercial lead, or a distributor building relationships with Licensed Producers entering Germany. For Lumino clients on the executive-search side, it is often where our search briefs first surface in conversation.

🎫 Tickets available at €499 (Conference Pass) and €1,999 (Vendor Conference Pass). Early-bird code CBE27_50 takes 50% off.

Vitafoods Europe 2027

Expo & Conference (Nutraceuticals, CBD-adjacent)
•
Where: Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Spain
•
 When: 18-20 May 2027
• 95% B2B – 5% B2C
• Nutraceutical / Functional Food

Not a cannabis-first event, but the largest European stage for CBD and hemp-derived ingredient B2B. The 2026 edition set records: 26,767 attendees (+5% year on year) from 130+ countries, 1,550+ exhibitors (+16%), 100 speakers, 37.5 hours of sessions and 220,000+ on-site connections. GLP-1 and longevity tracks dominated 2026 programming and are likely to carry through 2027.

The CBD and hemp-derived ingredients zone runs a meaningful minority of the floor and is where European wellness brands source. Worth budgeting for CBD-adjacent formulators, contract manufacturers, and any European brand chasing supermarket or pharmacy listings. On our recruiting side, this is where we see FMCG heads-of-innovation quietly assess a move into cannabis brands.

Buds and Beats 2027 – The Cannabis Festival

Cannabis Festival & Trade Floor
•
 Where: Halle 622, Zurich, Switzerland
•
 When: 28-29 May 2027
• 30% B2B – 70% B2C
• Adult-use / Cultural

Halle 622 is a 5,000+ capacity Zurich event venue, and Buds and Beats uses the full space to pair a trade floor with a two-day music festival. 2027 is expected to bring in over 4,000 attendees. The site is split into 12 themed zones, including CBD, Medical, Hemp, Glass and Art, and hosts the Swiss Joint Rolling Championship. CannaTrade, Europe's longest-running hemp fair, is among the listed participants.

The Swiss pilot-project scene has quietly become one of the most interesting adult-use sandboxes in Europe, and Buds and Beats is where pilot operators, cantonal regulators and DACH-region brands compare notes. A useful pulse-check for anyone tracking regulated adult-use across German-speaking Europe.

🎫 Presale due to open at the end of September 2026. Prices not yet published.

JUNE 2027 • CANNABIS EVENTS

Mary Jane Berlin 2027

B2B Day + Expo & Festival
•
Where: Messe Berlin, Hammarskjöldplatz, Berlin, Germany
•
 When: 3 June 2027 (B2B day) & 4-6 June 2027 (Expo + Festival)
• 40% B2B – 60% B2C
• 30% Medical – 70% Recreational

The largest cannabis event on the continent by footfall and exhibitor count. The 2026 edition (10th anniversary) drew 75,000+ attendees and 500+ exhibitors, and the organisers are billing 2027 as the start of "Season 2." The dedicated Thursday B2B day is the one to prioritise for procurement, distribution, and hiring conversations before the festival crowd arrives on Friday. A fast-growing pharma and medical exhibitor track now sits alongside the recreational floor.

Its standout: post-legalisation, the Thursday B2B day has become the highest-traffic route into the German consumer market, which is why international companies now use it as their German market-entry launchpad. If you are hiring commercial or retail talent for a German push, this is the room to be in.

🎫 Super Early Bird tickets are on sale now (phase 1 of 4). Trade passes: €190 (Business Thursday), €260 (Business plus Weekend, Thursday to Sunday) and €280 (Business plus Golden, with Golden Area access). Festival tickets: €20-35 per day depending on the day, €70 (3-day) and €110 (Golden Ticket). Prices step up with each phase.

GreenTech Amsterdam 2027

Expo & Conference (Horticulture Technology, medicinal cannabis track)
•
 Where: RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands
•
 When: 15-17 June 2027
• 100% B2B
• 80% Medical – 20% Recreational

The 2026 edition (themed "PURE") drew 11,800+ visitors and 550-560 exhibitors from 120+ countries. This is the tech-supplier hub for European cultivation buyers: HVAC, lighting, fertigation, automation, robotics, climate control. The dedicated Medicinal Plants route on the show floor is GreenTech's cannabis cultivation entry point, sitting alongside Vertical Farming, Robotics, AI and Renewable Energy tracks.

EU-GMP cultivators from Portugal, Germany, Denmark and Malta staff booths and buy kit here. If your talent search touches CEA engineering, master growers, or automation leads, GreenTech is where the specialist supplier community is concentrated for the year.

🎫 Register here. Pricing not yet published on-page (contact greentech@rai.nl).

Cannabis Europa London 2027

Conference & Expo (Executive)
•
Where: Woolwich Works, Royal Arsenal, London, UK
•
 When: 23-24 June 2027
• 100% B2B
• 65% Medical – 35% Recreational

Now in its 10th year, Cannabis Europa moves from the Barbican to Woolwich Works in 2027, trading a venue built for ideas for one built for trade. The 2026 edition drew 904 registrations from 39 countries, with 42% at C-suite level or above and 31% returning year on year, and the organisers expect 2,000+ delegates and 70+ exhibitors at the bigger 2027 venue. The programme runs across three stages under three themes: Policy (regulators and legislators on reimbursement, scheduling and cross-border trade), Capital (investors on consolidation and what a fundable European cannabis business looks like) and Commerce (supply, manufacturing and retail leaders on licensing, quality and distribution).

It bills itself as Europe's most senior cannabis room rather than its biggest, and the numbers back that up: this is where regulators, investors, C-suite operators and the clinicians and pharmaceutical leaders shaping medical access actually sit together. For Lumino clients hiring at Director level and above across LPs, clinics, distributors and pharma, the density of decision-makers in one room makes this one of the highest-value two days on the European calendar.

Cannabis Europa has also confirmed two smaller regional events for 2027 (200-300 delegates each). Host cities, dates and venues are due to be revealed in the coming weeks, and we'll add both here as soon as they're confirmed.

🎫 Tickets available from £334 (Super Early Bird, until 1 November 2026), rising to £397 (Early Bird, 2 November–8 January), £467 (Standard, 9 January–30 April) and £568 (Final Release, from 1 May). VIP tickets are £757 (sold out in 2026).

JULY 2027 • CANNABIS EVENTS

CULTIVA Munich 2027 – Summer Festival

Outdoor Expo & Festival
•
 Where: Motorworld München, Munich, Germany
•
 When: 9-11 July 2027
• 20% B2B – 80% B2C
• Adult-use / Community

The second Munich edition from the team behind Vienna's long-running CULTIVA Hanfexpo, which crossed into Bavaria for the first time in July 2026. The debut was deliberately compact: 35 exhibitors and 25 speakers and artists across a 5,000 m² outdoor festival area, styled as a Bavarian summer folk festival with a beer garden, a main stage and daily panel discussions on homegrow and the current legal framework. A Patient Lounge and a congress programme run alongside the stands, and across its Vienna and Munich editions CULTIVA counts 120+ exhibitors from around the world.

This is a consumer-first event, so it is not where European B2B deals get signed. Its value for our readers is intel: Bavaria's state government has been the loudest opponent of Germany's Cannabis Act, so a growing cannabis festival in Munich is a useful read on where consumer sentiment in southern Germany is heading. Brands with a DACH retail or social-club angle will find the crowd worth a day.

🎫 Tickets: 2027 prices not yet published. For reference, 2026 online tickets were €24 (1-day) and €48 (3-day), or €25 and €50 at the door.

CannaFestival 2027 – Karlsruhe

Expo & Festival
•
 Where: Messe Karlsruhe, Germany
•
 When: 16-18 July 2027
• 50% B2B – 50% B2C
• Industry, Culture & Community

The 2026 edition brought 5,000+ visitors and 80+ exhibitors. Positioned as the cannabis fair for Germany's south-west and the tri-border DE/CH/FR region, with heavy programming on Cannabis Consumption Act (KCanG) implementation and social-club setup. That policy angle is what sets CannaFestival apart from the bigger northern shows: it is the one place where practical, on-the-ground German legalisation questions get worked through with the operators and policymakers who are living them.

Worth a look for brands and operators wanting to reach the Rhine corridor without doing Berlin. A distinct DACH-plus-France audience that many pan-European operators overlook. With CULTIVA Munich the weekend before, southern Germany now has a two-weekend cannabis run in July.

🎫 Tickets on sale soon. Prices not yet published.
